Temporary Work Experience (TWE)

A TWE is an opportunity for the employer to pre-screen candidates by trying them out in a position with your company at no cost to you. The length of the TWE can vary, but usually occurs for a period of two to eight weeks long.

  • CP takes on the full payroll responsibilities fo rthe duration of the TWE.
  • Wages are paid to the employee by CP at the normal rate of pay for that position
  • CP will provide documented proof of liability and Workers' compensation insurance for the employee while they are working a TWE at your company.

 

On The Job Training Initiative (OJT)

The OJT gives you, the employer, an opportunity to add a qualified person with a disability to your workforce.

50% of the salary and fringe benefit expenses of a Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) referral that is hired by your company will be paid for upfront by DVR for up to 90 Days.
